Learning Corner & Teach Yourself

A Learning Corner is a place where you can teach yourself our National language. Kiswahili (Swahili)
is a National or official our nation, and only language of African origin among many, which serves as an official language of the African Union. Kiswahili also spoken as a national language in
Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, and Congo (DRC), where it is an official or national language. Other parts of Africa where language can be heard includes Somalia, Rwanda, Burundi, Malawi, Zambia, Mozambique, and South Africa.
New England Umoja offers you the opportunity to teach yourself Tanzanian native language from our volunteers.

We are current looking for some volunteers who can speak and write Kiswahili fluently. Please join us and send your volunteer request to the address above.
